Dole whips

Ive searched and couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Are Dole Whips non dairy? There are some lactose issues we need to deal with for the trip.

Also, are they made with real pineapples? pineapple juice? pineapple concentrate? or pineapple flavoring? There is a slight sensitivity to some of those for someone in our group.

Any info about these are very much appreciated. Thanks!

I've heard that Dole Whips are dairy free. I'm lactose intolerant and I have no problems with Dole Whips.

I beleive they are actually a sorbet and are made with real pineapple. I doon't have a link, but on the "DisABILTIES!" forum someone should be able to give you the contact information for the MK Executive Chef's office where all such information is available.

I found this recipe on another site...not sure if it the actual one from Disney..I tried it last summer and it just wasn't the same!! Maybe the atmosphere at Disney makes it taste better!!
