dole whips????

What are dole whips. Have heard of them but never seen

it is like a pineapple soft serve ice cream. You can get it with vanilla or chocolate. They have it on a cone or in a cup and I always the float. It is the pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice. Have to have it every trip.

Aloha Isle is worth the price of airfare to WDW,LOL.

The pineapple floats they serve there are the best thing on a hot day. And so is the little alcove you can sit in and enjoy them away from the crowds at MK.

A must stop!

Does it have to be pineapple or are there other flavors? Dole also has bananas. Do they not make it with any other flavor or are we stuck with pineapple! I don't like pineapple so for me, I may be out of luck.

I don't know if they have banana ... I remember they had chocolate, vanilla, pineapple and a pineapple vanilla twist... Pineapple is my favourite You have to eat quickly though if it's warm out.

No banana (that sounds really good though)

I am not one for pineapples either. Whenever I get a banana split I request no pineapples.
I decided to try a Dole Whip since I heard good things about them.
I tried the pineapple/vanilla twist & I have to admit those are YUMMMMMY!!!!!!! Not overly pineapple.

I don't think I would like the pineapple float since I think that would be too much pineapple.
They also have where you can just get vanilla plain or chocolate plain too, I believe.

WE have to have Dole Whips at least a couple of times on every trip. They are just great, I have never seen them anyplace but at WDW.

jacksonsmom, so is that just like soft serve ice cream or yogurt? We have seen them so many times, just never been in the mood to stand in line for them. Especially not knowing whether I'd like them or not. There are just too many goodies there that I know I would like.

dole whips aren't limited to wdw. a lot of ice cream places around where i grew up had them long before i'd heard of them at wdw. though the floavor selections at wdw are limited, they do come in a variety of flavors elsewhere.

Yes, it is just like soft serve ice cream.

I tried it because DH said if I don't like it he will finish it since he likes pineapples.
Well, he had to go back & get his own because I was not sharing! LOL

Me & DW love the pineapple floats. Really goes great after counter service tacos/nachos from nearby El Pirata (when it's open)!
