Dole Whips

Ok, folks...help me out here. I have had the Dole Whips EVERY trip for the past who-knows-how-many years. We're going in September with a friend who's never had one. As many as I've had over the years, I've never been able to come up with a good way to describe it, aside from "OMG, it's sooo good". If you can tell me how you'd describe it to someone who's never seen one, I'd really appreciate it.

It's just pineapple-flavored soft serve ice cream. It's unique, because you can't get the pineapple flavored at most places, but really, it's just soft serve ice cream.

I know the basics of it...but...what makes it soooo special in your opinion?

I guess I never found it to be so special. Everyone raves about it on here so a few trips ago we got one to try. Were surprised that it's just ice cream!

I guess it's special because of the pineapple flavor, which is not found everywhere.

They are good, if you love pineapple, and we do. The floats looked good there too, but we didn't get that.
