An important definition differentiation between the Dole Whip and the Dole Whip Float. Many refer to the Amazing Dole Whip and actually mean the Amazing Dole Whip Float.

Dole Whips - Pineapple soft serve ice cream. Tasty ice cream, but nothing earth shattering (to me)

Dole Whip Float - Soft Serve Ice Cream (Pineapple, Pineapple Vanilla Swirl, Vanilla, Chocolate or Chocolate Vanilla Swirl) served in fresh pineapple juice. Eating one of these makes me feel like I am a step closer to God

My poor DH went to Aloha Isle for us on our October 2007 trip. I kept raving about the Dole Whips from March (which were actually Dole Whip Floats. He got Soft Serve and innocently asked where the Pineapple Juice was. The CM was SO nice and totally unnecessarily replaced all of our soft serves (3-4 of them) with Dole Whip Floats. He said that this happens to them all the time. (They should just rename the float "Taste of Heaven" to avoid confusion )

Also - Dole Whip Floats are only found in the MK at Aloha Isle. The Dole Whip Soft Serve can be found elsewhere - as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Maybe... I love pineapple but I find that the Dole Whip is very bland. I'm in the midwest, too.

Its pineapple softserve frozen ice cream, but the float is in a larger cup with pineapple juice on it.I like the float the best.
