Dole Whips in AK (dark rum as snack credit)?

I noticed that they have Dole Whips in AK now, and have added coconut and dark rum options. Are either a snack credit?

No. According to Disney Food blog, the plain Dole Whip is snack (around $5) and added rum is not (around $6). Alcohol NEVER is a snack credit anyway.

No, no alcohol dole whips on the DDP. You can get the regular one. I know when I got the dole whip with rum at Epcot last year, I paid cash.

Just to add When they have offered the rum option at I guess F&W I didn't hear a lot of good reviews.

I loved the Dole Whip with Rum that we had at Epcot during the Flower Garden show last year. Normally I don't "love" Dole Whips but the rum made it super yummy!

Nope. You can never use dining credits to purchase alcoholic beverages (with the single exception of the dinner shows, which include wine and beer in the price)

The "bad" reviews I have seen were from those who expected something else (they thought the rum would be mixed in with the frozen beverage but instead it is poured over the top of it.)

Woah.......I did not know that you could add rum to Dole Whips!!!! That changes everything!!
