Dole whip shmole whip, it's all about the creamsickle

So we're at the parks now, and after numerous trips of trying to get a chance to try the dole whip, we finally did so today at MK. My wife got the dole whip, and since I'm not a huge pineapple fan, I got the orange and vanilla swirl. Hands down mine was better. Neither of us thought the dole whip was that special, but the orange and vanilla totally kicked butt. Brought back memories of the push up pops from the Good Humor trucks. Can't wait to get it again!

I've never been a creamsicle girl. I have to say, I am excited to get to finally try a dole whip in a couple of weeks that hasn't already half-melted in the 95 degree heat by the time I get it.

I agree. I mistakenly ordered an orange whip in pineapple juice lsst August. I thought it would be fruity and refreshing, like rainbow sherbet. I love orange sherbet, and I love pineapple juice. It was disgusting, like Children's Bayer used to be, only worse.

I am not a fan of the orange swirl..it USED TO be called a Citrus swirl and was FRESH,Frozen Oj swirled with vanilla soft serve..It was DIVINE..now it tastes blech.

As we all know, it takes a sophisticated and refined palate to properly appreaciate the Heaven sent glory that is the Dole Whip.

Actually, I really enjoy both the pineapple and orange flavored whips, and recommend that anyone who enjoys those flavors give them each a try to see which is a better fit for them.

I couldnt agree with you more!!!!!! I tried the dole whip and thought it was good BUT its certainly not spectacular like most say. My son got the orange vanilla swirl, I tried it and fell in love! It was soooo much better!!

I was SO disappointed in my first Dole Whip. Ice cream is my favorite food ever, and I LOVE pineapple...how could the two combined go wrong?! But the dole whip is just somehow too sweet for me, and I didn't like it at all. I do like the orange/white better, though I've never had it at Disney. But at Disney I stick to chocolate-vanilla swirl and it's delicious every time.
