Dole Whip Dairy Free

Hi I think I read somewhere that Dole Whips are dairy free. Does anyone have experience with this?

I read conflicting reports on this. We are at the poly now and have been here since August 3 & leaving in a few hours.

Last week I asked for toffuti for my day who is fully allergic not just sensitive or lactose intolerant.

The lady that helped me told me the dole whips were dairy free but just the pineapple one and i read the ingredients. She let my son try it and e loved it. He has had 3 this week and is going for his 4 right now since ME is picking us up in 2 hours.

Thanks so much!! my DS is also allergic, casein. October will be our first trip since being diagnosed and he loves Dole Whips. After being told all the time he can no longer have a lot of what he loves this will make Jim very happy. I'm assuming thus is true for the ones at MK also.

Some Dole Whip flavors are dairy free. What you have to be careful with is that some of the places you can get them mix all their Dole Whips in the same containers. As well, it seems that the ingredients have changed and some places may not have the new mix that is dairy free (if I understand how things have been reported here correctly). If you check ingredients and ask about cross-contamination where you order, you should be fine.

We only had them at the poly and just the pineapple ones. Each one here has a different nozzle to squirt it out. The one on the left is vanilla and he can't have it. The one in the middle is the swirl again a no no for him. And the one on the right is just the pineapple one.

Not one reaction and believe me when he has a reaction he has hives, frothy sputum and eventually throws up.

When we were there at the beginning of July, I asked to see the binder at Aloha Isle in MK. That binder had an asterisk next to the pineapple dole whip that said "contains casein." However, at the Poly, a CM brought out the box with the ingredients label on it and it was safe. I posted about that on here and folks seemed to think that it is more of a cross contamination issue at MK because of the buckets they use to make the mix. Either that, or the ingredients list was old.

The chef at 'Ohana went downstairs and got me a pineapple dole whip as my dessert, and I had no reaction. I did not, however, eat one at MK.

I work at a small park in Pa that serves dole whips and I looked at our book and dole whips lists casein. does not list differently for vanilla and pineapple. now it could be a cross in mixing even though it comes out separately.

The one in the poly for pineapple did not list casein. My son is allergic to that/aka all forms of dairy.

I didn't even try the one at the MK since we stayed at the poly and my kids loved making their leaning tower of dole whips.
