Dole Whip at Poly?

I just found out they now have the Dole Whip machine at the Poly! Now I can get a fix everyday of our trip without a park hopper ticket!
Has anyone purchased one there? Were they the same as MK? Do you just serve yourself and then take it to the cashier to pay, or do you have to use that new touchscreen computer. Or is the new touchscreen just for ordering hot/grill foods?
Also just realized they have Tongo Toast there. Cheaper than Kona, no bacon, etc.

Is it possible, in the early morning hours, to park at the TTC, walk to the Poly for bfast at Captain Cook's and hop on one of the first monorails to go directly to MK without stopping back at the TTC?

I am scared to DEATH of that Dole whip machine - I keep having visions of myself shoving some little five year old out of the way, kneeling down in front of the machine and just letting the stuff chug into my mouth! Isn't that gross! LOL!

Anyway, I think you have to park at the TTC, since parking at the Poly for a day in the parks is a no-no. The resort monorail does stop at the TTC, I believe, because that's where you change over to the Epcot monorail. But you just sit until the MK stop.

You pass by the dole whip machine on the way to the cashier, and there are no cups out. If you want a cup, you have to tell the cashier, who will ring you up and then hand you a small bowl.

Are refills allowed? Not officially. But neither are they officially banned (unless you ask a manager), and of the two times I asked regular CM's, both said they'd look the other way. That said, I was asking for academic purposes, as I've yet to buy this here. I'm always too stuffed from the great pork sandwich.

Yes!! We discovered the machine back in December. It's an awesome improvement. Wonder if they other resorts can get one? If nothing else, it could fit in at CBR just as well!

Here is a question...if we want to pop in during our week at Disney to get a Dole Whip (everyone in the family is crazy for them, our favorite treat and we can't find anything like it at home), will the parking guards let you park at the Poly to eat at a counter service restaurant?? We are NOT trying to get out of paying to park (and in fact would likely have a Park parking pass for Epcot, AK or MGM from earilier in the day). Its just that if we are coming by in the middle of the afternoon, who knows how far away in the TCC from the Poly we might have to park.
I know that the parking guards will let you into resort parking if you have an advance reservation at a TS restaurant, but what if you are just going to a counter service??? We are not trying to hog up resort parking, but we do want to purchase something there!
