Dole Whip and Strawberry Swirl

Hi all,

I have two quick questions, First: Are the Dole Whips worth going and trying? I have missed them every trip, and next week will be my first time.

Second: Can anyone confirm the Strawberry Swirl is gone from the Enchanted Grove?

I absolutely think the Dole Whip is worth it, or better yet the Dole Whip Float(with pineapple juice)!

I cannot confirm the Strawberry Swirl is gone, but I really hope it isn't...

YES!!!! Without a doubt. They are my favorite snack at WDW...so is the Dole Whip Float.

Dole Whip is pineapple soft serve ice cream (you can get is swirled with vanilla if you want, but I like it better by itself).

Dole Whip Float is pineapple soft serve ice cream in pineapple juice. Heavenly!

Both can be purchased with snack credits.

There are other flavor Dole Whips but Disney only sells the Pineapple flavor. I wish they would get some of the others. I've had Strawberry & Banana also.

After reading about Dole Whips for years on these boards, and never getting around to trying them at WDW, DD8 and I finally had one at DLR a few months back. Now DD is addicted to them and wants to get one every time we go. (and we have AP to DLR).

The first time we had the float but decided we really just like the whip by itself. I don't know if they do this at WDW but at DL the pineapple juice isn't cold so it melts the whip too fast. If the ones at WDW are served with chilled pineapple juice then I would probably get one (or more) of those. I can't believe with having the DDP 4 times we haven't gotten one of these at WDW yet. I think the main reason is we don't spend that much time at MK since we have DL so close. We concentrate more on the other parks, inc. the water parks. Now that you can get Dole Whips at Poly we will definitely be getting a few of these. How nice it'll be to sit on the beach at Poly, sipping our Dole Whip float , while watching Wishes after having a great meal at Kona! (I'm already imagining myself there!)

Nope, they also sell chocolate and vanilla flavors in Adventureland. http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_alh.htm It's Captain Cook's that only has pineapple.

The Dole Whip Float we had in the MK was the same. The juice was warm ruining the whole thing. We didn't like it at all. If we ever try a Dole Whip again, we won't get a float.

Captain Cook's also has vanilla, so you can swirl it with the pineapple if you want.
