Doing WDW around Nov-Dec

DH is kind of jealous because I'm taking DS,DD,DSIL,DGD & DGS to WDW during Easter week so he wants to go in Nov-Dec. He says "WDW is too crowded around Easter week". Does anyone know when exactly they turn on the Christmas lights? I'm not sure if he wants to go during Christmas or the Food & Wine. It would be fun if both were going on at the sametime.

a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving most of the lights will be up. MK lights will be up when MVMCP begans in Nov. I haven't seem the schedule yet - but maybe you can do the food/wine festavial and see MVMCP.

the best week use to be the first week in Dec - but Disney a couple of years ago decided that was their week for filming that parade. not to mention cheerleaders games and a few other things. that say during the day the parks are still a good bit less crowded. but at night forget it.

so the second week in dec might be better.

I'll be at WDW 11/9-16 - celebrating my 50th bday!

The Food & Wine festival ends on the 11th
my 50th bday is the 13th
and MVMCP is on the 13th & 15th that wk- Im planning on the 15th

Congratulations! I just turned 50 and retired too. I had 32 years at my job. The company gave us a nice buy-out.
