sorry if this posted b4, i don't think it did.

long story short:
my grandpa has been an employee for over 40 years (he got his jimeny cricket statue/plaque). ever since they made the switch to getting your complimentary Disneyland cast member passes via the computer he hasn't been able to. he has next to zero working knowledge concerning computers.

recently i've done a bit of research and too have come up to a dead end.
i'm not sure if it is through the same system that they currently log employee hours, but he gets help with this at work...and translating this so i can help him at home would be too much of a feat.

im just really disapointed, im in florida and i was hoping things would work out. Im not even sure disneyland (california) cast member complimentary tickets would even work for WDW.

Also, I've been a annual passholder in california for the last 5-7 years (short gaps of a couple months between "renewing" my pass some years).

it just seems like there is so little rewards now for both me a loyal customer, and him a loyal employee. given, this is just one of the benefits he gets as a cast member--but its been virtually cut out for him. i find this to be very ageist practice, but i don't want to cause any trouble for him at work or anything. its not the company's fault he is not computer savvy, but they should make it well known if they offer alternatives to their staff. i don't see why they even changed from their system of mailing out the complimentary passes.

i was looking forward to going to epcot, as i went there once when i was 7. it is now 14 years later, and i kind of feel like the wind has been taken out from under me.

will disney and my relationship come to an end?
if anyone has any helpful information that they think will help, i will greatly appreciate it. thanks fellow disney fans.

finding any relevant/recent information concerning this matter has been an arduous task in itself, hence i tell my story.

all best,
j.
