Doing the TP switcheroo...

At our house I like the TP over the front. Dfi likes it over the back. Whenever she changes it, I change it back. Anyone else do the TP switheroo? Or am I just too anal...

Nope because I seem to be the only one that changes the roll, so it just has to go my way. Nobody else seems to have the care to turn it around seeing how they couldn't change it in the first place.

I watched a show on the travel channel once that had a butler type guy from some ritzy hotel talking about this. He said that the TP should always go over the top/front and the edges should be folded into a little triangle.
It's always over the top for me but I can't say that I fold the edges.

Wow, you're a real butt-wipe when it comes to your toilet paper aren't you??

I'm the same way though but I'm like your DFi. I like it the opposite way. It's really not a problem since I'm the only one in my house that knows how to replace toilet paper.

Over the top...I have been know to change the TP in other people's homes and public places... I am so anal about it.

I put it over the top because in every elegant hotel I have ever stayed in, that is the way it was done so I thought that is how it SHOULD be done.

To each his own unless I am around.

I can't stand when TP goes under instead of over. DH, probably because his mom did it too, is an under, but since he rarely changes it -- not a problem!

I'm convinced there's a mental deficiency for those who want it under!!!! LOL

I don't really care how the toilet paper is positioned. It has a job to do, and as long as the job gets done I'm happy.

We don't have any controversy at our house. It goes over the top toward the "wiper" so he or she can find the edge easier. We are all in agreement because I have CLARIFIED my position on this topic. When mommy is happy, everyone else gets to be happy. Also, the kids willingly change the rolls because they like to play with the empty tubes.

Hey now! I happen to like it under but I'm not going to bother rearranging it if someone puts it on WRONG. My SIL was just at my house for a shower for her daughter and I caught her turning my paper towels around! Now those, I'll turn around so the paper comes under because, well, it's just the right thing to do.
