Doing MM and MTTMM same day?

The Sunday 5/6 MM was cancelled and rescheduled for Mon 5/7, our MTTMM day. Anyone have experience doing this? I would like to do PP, Dumbo, Alice, and Mr. Toad plus grab a FP for ST before Toontown. Possible? Do we miss anything fun if we get to TT 10 minutes after opening to get the FP? TIA

We actually did that on accident last time because we didn't realize MM and TTMM were different. We had the TT vouchers and nothing for MM (not knowing it was on our ticket already). So it wasn't until we got to TT an hour early that we found out. So we went to TL and rode SM a couple times and I think we went to FL too but don't remember. Then we went to TT when it opened.

The firs part of TT is meeting characters. They are all out mingling. Then about 20 or 30 min after opening they have the show and then back to meet n greets (but this time at their normal spots) and you can ride GGC or RR I believe but we didn't so not sure. So showing up 10 late will only give you less time meeting the characters unless something has changed in the last 16 months.

My family is staying at the DLH, and our package says that MTTMM is part of it. Does that mean we will get vouchers or will they just have us show our room key to get in?

You will get special MTTM tickets, 1 per person that you redeem to enter.

I personally wouldn't do them on the same day if you don't have to.

First you have to watch the time closely during MM so you can get over to TT's entrance. Then, in my experience (and this is even on a slow day during a slow time), there's a lineup (stroller brigade is what I called it, LOL) to get into TT. And that's before TT opens, which means you're in MM time. Get into TT, wait around 20 minutes or so (b/c they delay it to let people just entering the park at opening to get back to TT), and it starts.

It just felt like too much clock-watching for me.

Yea I wouldn't do it on the same day if you don't have to. I didn't realize the MM and TTMM were different until I was in the park or I would have done things different. In may we are going back and will do TTMM on a non MM day since I now know the difference.

Ok - I need to rethink my plans. I am taking 2 grandsons that have never been to any theme park - ages 5 and 8. I wanted to do FL and TT early in the trip and build up to the bigger coasters to be sure they are ready. I could do MM on Tuesday and TTMM on Wednesday, but that is the last day of the trip. Maybe we can swing by and try GG Sunday just to see how they handle it. Will GG lines be really long on a Sunday afteroon?

Outside of MTTM GGC has a long line. I can understand wanting to build up to bigger coasters. You are probably going to find GGC with a 30-45 minute wait. What I dislike about that ride is the line is so long and the ride is super short. If you don't mean next week or Summer you may find the line to be much shorter on a weekday, but I wouldn't wait that long to ride BTMRR.
