doing DC without the swim?

hi all
after watching the dvd we got in the post i was thinking of doing discovery cove without the dolphin swim?
i ask this because i am not a keen swimmer with any thing that moves(sad i know )but the kids want to go to DC they would like to do the snorkling and it just looks such a relaxing park but is it worth it if you are not doing the swim i do hope this post makes some kind of sense

My dh husband and I did DC without the swim and loved it, but don't let not being a swimmer keep you from it, the whole pool is shallow I believe.

thanks for your reply i can swim i just don't like the idea of swimming with live things(i can't even put my hand into our fish tank just in case the fish nip at my fingers lol)discovery cove looks so nice and peacefull i thought it would be a nice rest from the parks

I would say its only worth it if someone in your party wants to do the dolphin swim otherwise spend your money on a nice meal and have a nice day by the pool relaxing

thanks for that well from today we have decided not to do discovery cove,it's a good job our plans are not set in stone because we have been changing our minds evry day lol

The DVD is available in the UK it advertises BG, SW & DC its sponsered by Virgin travel they used to also do one for Universal but alas no more

We booked Dc but there were no dolphin swim times available so we ended up cancelling. My dd really wants to swim with the dolphins so it was very costly to go even without the swim. For us, it was like, "What's the point?"
