Doing all Epcot tier one's in one day

Would this work? We have 3 adults and 2 kids (one not tall enough to ride soarin' or TT). I have an 11 am princess breakfast at akurshus (we aren't extremely big eaters first thing in the morning). I have a 12:30 FP for FEA (couldn't miss that with two little frozen fans). If we get to Soarin' first thing, could 3 of us (2 adults older kid) do standby and get a rider swap for a return later in the week? While doing that little one and other adult could do living with the land or stroll about. Then hit up breakfast and FEA. For TT, If I go with my wife and little one, could I get a child swap and then do single rider, letting 3 people return to do TT later in the day?

Here's how I'd do it:

Soarin' at Rope Drop
Standby LwtL (we waited about 20 minutes last June, at most)
Single rider line for Test Track
FP+ for FEA

I think it's definitely possible.

Did you take into account the new A&E M&G? Even though not Tier 1, I'd assume would be a can't miss with two little frozen fans and not FP+ eligible so likely a massive line.

They met A&E at the castle last year and there is no schedule out yet for the epcot M&G.

Last time I was there in January you were not allowed to do rider swap and go through the single rider line on Test Track, you had to do standard stand-by.

Here's how I'd do it:

Nilla nailed it, this is exactly what you should do. If you'd rather be together for TT, then go in the normal line, but you'll obviously have to wait. Like a PP said, I'm pretty sure you can't use Rider Swap later in the week, but I don't know for sure. ... as a side note that would bum me out if it is allowed, as it seems a little bit like manipulating system. But if it works, can't blame you for using it.

I don't know how old your older child is, but you cannot get rider swap in the single rider line and your older child is likely too young to go through the single rider line. So if he/she wants to ride TT, you would have to adapt the earlier plan. Here is how I would do it:
Soarin at RD - get rider swap
Then immediately to TT - get rider swap
Then Akershus and FEA fastpass
Then back to the Land to ride LWTL standby and use rider swap for Soarin'
Then use rider swap for TT

Rider swap CAN be used on another day. However, if you have more than one Epcot day, I may alter the plan and try for Soarin at rope drop on one day and TT at rope drop on the other day.

Test Track would not give us a rider swap if going in the single rider line.

Why would it "bum you out?" The passes are valid for 30 days, per Disney. It really isn't manipulating the system.

UGH! Good thing I don't really like that ride anyway, but that is very irritating b/c it's just my husband and using the single rider line and child swapping is not even a "loophole." It just makes the most sense that a single rider would use a single rider line when available....

Most rides will NOT let you pick up child swaps anymore. They are going to lanyard systems or you tell an attendant where the fastpass line meets up that you need a rider swap. Each ride seems to have its own system which is a little complicated, but I don't think we got any at the front of the ride in January.

Not sure why you quoted me here - I suggested Riding TT (picking up the rider swap while there) and then heading to Soarin (and picking up the rider swap) and then heading to Norway if the 3rd theatre was enough people. A lot of folks will be racing to FEA at rope drop so there should be a chance with everyone distributed around that if you got to Soarin 20 minutes after opening you may not have too long of a wait. The same also applies doing Soarin first, but I just don't expect as many folks are going to be using their FP on test track of the 3 tier 1s so it's line profile might change to have a bigger rope drop crowd.

As long as the too short child is with you, yes you can get rider swap at Soarin'. As others have stated, you can't get a rider swap using single rider - the point of rider swap is so that a person doesn't have to ride alone. If you use single rider, you've admitted that it doesn't matter if you ride alone so no need for RS.

Not sure if that would be accurate. If we were a family of 2 adults and one child that doesn't meet height requirements, but we like rides, we'd be riding alone as one of us would have to watch the kiddo.

I'm letting you know you can't count on being able to "pick up" your rider swap at Soarin' anymore. You will most likely have to have someone RIDE Soarin' in order to get the rider swap. That was a previous strategy that you may not have known is people would go over to frontierland and pick up rider swaps for Splash and BTMRR, etc. THEN they would use the rider swaps way later in the day.

Waiting in line only once. Since Disney does not let patrons below the height requirement in line, they have offered the rider swap/switch passes so the second person can bypass waiting and not have to wait in line twice simply because a member of their party is too short.

Being in the single rider line is in the best interest of everyone because it ensures the ride is filled to capacity. That is a good thing regardless of rider swap usage. And other rides still allow doing single rider and getting a rider swap.
