We are visiting WDW Feb 8-12 and only have 2 days at the parks, with the new EE MK will have 3 extra hours the day we visit so we decided to drop in at AK first thing, stay until noo then head to MK.

On our other day we want to hit MGM in the morning and then Epcot for the rest of the day.

We can go commando no problem, our kids our 6 & 8.

Suggestions for best strategie please!!!!

I think you definitely already have the best strategy. Doing AK first before Mk and doing the studios first before Epcot are both excellent ideas. Hit the Safrai at Ak first thing. Just go from the entrance straight to the safari. If you will not have a car I would even take the Ak bus to AKL and then the AKL bus to MK. At Studios go right to tot and RnR Coaster if you will be doing either of those. If not you are good for anything. When you go to Epcot do Future World first since WS is open later. Will you be there during the new evening EMH at Epcot or MK? You will be able to do it. Just figure out exactly which rides you want to go on first and make out a list of not to miss stuff for each park. You are going to have so much fun!!

Yes, that is a perfect way to do it. Hit AK first thing in the morning. We usually go straight to Dinosaur, then to Primevil Whirl, then grab a FP for the Safari and go see Festival of the Lion King. Then backtrack to the Safari and finish up with Kali River Rapids, if it isn't too cold.
Then take the bus to MK and spend the rest of the day, make use of Fastpasses and conclude the day with Wishes.
On the next day, go to MGM and head straight for ToT grabbing a FP, then go directly to RnR to ride. You may be able to get 2 rides in on RnR before goingn to ToT to redeem your FP. Go to the other attractions of choice, then take the boat launch to Epcot, entering from the International Gateway. Go straight to Test Track and get a FP, if any are left. If not, get FP for Mission Space, and do Test Track via the single rider line. Then head out to other attractions of choice, making sure not to miss the new Nemo and Crush show at the Living Seas.

Have a great time!

When you leave MGM, take a boat to Beach/Yacht club (maybe grab some lunch here?) and stroll to the International Gateway to Epcot. Yes, it may take a little time out of your touring, but it is a nice break, especially for the kids.
