Doing After Hours Events on First Disney World Visit

Hi there,
I am coming to Disney World for the first time in September and I can see that there is a AK AH and a MK AH event on my first week.
Having watched TimTracker and Dis Unplugged vlogs they seem like quite a good event to go due to the lower crowds and ride waits and I am able to afford them.
However, these would be my first visit to AK (23/9) and I already have a Mickey Halloween ticket (24/9) 2 days before the MK AH (26/9).
Do you think they would be worth it for me?
I am also planning to go to parks early later in my stay, especially AK as I am very interested in the animals and see the shows there.
Any advice is much appreciated.

If you can afford the tickets yes go for MNSSHP there is so much to
Do beside the rides and with the after event any rides you could not do or want to do more then once you can do at the event

The MK After Hours event is very different than the MNSSHP. If I had to choose I would pick MK DAH but it seems you already have Halloween tickets. I don't know if AK After Hours is worth it as there are so many fewer rides. MK DAH is amazing and I have done both the regular as well as the Villains. Are you staying at a Disney resort? If so you will be able to get FP+ for Flight of Passage and other hard to get attractions minimizing the need for AK DAH.

DH, DD15, and I attended the 6/18 AK DAH and I would say it was NOT worth the $$$ even with my AP discount. DD and I attended the MK DAH last July, and it was so much better. We rode all the rides (many of them multiple times) and had plenty of snacks from an abundance of snack carts. We've never done MNSSHP and I realize it's a different ball game all together. I'd personally do both, for the rides at DAH and characters, shows, and ambiance of MNSSHP.
