the FOMO is real! That was part of the idea in the first place, trying to encourage a slower pace. I will definitely post a trip report!

Just don't expect it to be anything like the 80's and 90's. I miss those times too, SO MUCH!!

Here's my little trick: Expect it to be crazy crowded, chaotic, impossible to find food fast enough, maybe throw in a heat wave or rain, and then plan a really fun trip around it. I have ALWAYS (like 100% of the time) been pleasantly surprised by how wonderful our trip was when I did that.
And what do I expect our October trip will be like? More crowded than Christmas and 99 degree heat.
