We are actually booked for our first Disney Cruise - October 23, 2005, and we were able to book 5022 and 5024. Friends are traveling with us so the connecting rooms were perfect. Thanks to the info I've gathered here, I knew what to ask for.

I was soooo happy to get these rooms. We checked the 10/16
cruise but all the "SPR" were already booked. So we moved to the next week.

We booked directly with Disney. I checked with AAA but the rates
were exactly the same, and I would actually rather have direct
control of what's happening with our booking. Guess I'm a bit of a control freak.

Anyone else booked for this cruise??

Now I only have 14 months to wait!!!!

That is great, those are great cabins, we had 5022 on our first cruise and just loved it, very convenient to everything.....

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are booked for two of the secret porthole rooms for april 7th wonder cruise. we are so excited to, I booked with dcl aswell. Glad to know I am not the only control freak. have fun!!!!

We were able to book the SPR for our Mexican Riviera cruise. I gave our TA a range of dates to work with & she was able to book 5022 & 5024 for our cruise! It helps to be a little flexible with your dates.

I am one of those booked in a SPR for October 15,2005....I think room 5520!!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::
We were in 5020 before and loved it....great bargain for the price.

I booked back in the spring and there were connecting rooms still open at that time, but I guess someone grabbed them up.

Can you believe how far ahead we have to book to get them!!! EEK! I am happy to be locked in at such a good price..:p

I notice this October that prices are really creeping up there!

It won't be long and we will be doing the one year dance!!:cheer2: :rockband: :cool1: :jumping1:

My family thinks that I am crazy!

Congrats! WE got SPH 5520 on 9/18/05 Wonder. My family can't believe I'm booking cruises this far out either! When we booked, 5020 was avail on 9/11/05, so it still may be free if anyone's interested. :Pinkbounc

My husband thought I was nuts wanting to book so far ahead
until I told him how much money we could save. Actually
those rooms went up about $150 in during the past week, so who
knows what they'll go up to.

I always book our WDW trips close to a year in advance and
our Auto Train ressies as soon as the new rates come out.

I wanted the October 16 trip because that would be over a
full moon. I thought it would be great to see a beautiful full harvest moon over the ocean. Maybe next year.

I have 5022-5024 SPH rooms reserved for Oct 16, 2005. I can't wait.

I have had them reserved for 4 months!!!

ok....You guys must be on the WONDER for 10-16-05??? I am booked on the MAGIC for 10-15-05. We have the first sailing after the drydock...That will be nice....:p

Have sailed the Wonder twice and LOVED IT! I think what I love about the Wonder is that you have a day at sea after Castaway Cay...I think I will miss that on the Magic...:sunny:

That is a day to unwind before heading home...the worst part of the trip...

I hate that last night putting my bags outside the door...    :sad1:

you don't even want to go to sleep so it won't be over....

Well I won't think about that anymore...happy planning all!:wave2:

I thought I planned early. I have room 5020 for the November 20, 2005 sailing. Such a long time away, but plenty of time to save money!!

We had 5022 on the Wonder 11/6/03 and my FIL/MIL had 5024. We were very pleased with the rooms, although we didn't spend a lot of time there!

Take good care of "my" room and have a GREAT time!

My ds and I have room 5520 for June 12, 2005.....We are so excited!!! I booked my land/sea package in January and asked
specifically for this room!!! This is our first cruise and I had heard so much about the spr.....had to have one for ourselves!!!:hyper:

I've had 5022 and 5024 since Dec. 2002! We leaave on the Wonder on July 29th. I'll let you know how they are when we return.

What drydock? Isn't that when they're coming back from the West Coast?

Also, how many people do the secret porthole staterooms hold?

MAGIC is in dry dock the first two weeks of October 2005....That is not too long after it will return from the West Coast. Maybe that is why they are doing this???

There was a big thread on it cause people booked on the 10-1 and 10-8 cruises were having to reschedule...:( Atleast they plan it far enough out that people can plan around it.

I think the Wonder is in drydock this October for 2 weeks.

I am kind of excited about taking the first cruise out of drydock.
Should be nice and clean and maybe the crew will have had a break.....:hyper:

The SPR sleep 4 people. The couch makes a bed and then one pulls down from the ceiling.

We had 5020 and loved it......I had a Cat 11 before and inside is ok,but I do like having a window and sunlight. Although the inside cabins you sleep very good........:o

I thought the SPR only fit 3. What category do they sell them as? I would have liked it for our West Coast cruise, but they were probably long gone when my TA was able to get through a few hours after the bookings opened.

That is nice they are dry docking the boat for 2 weeks. About how often to they do that? They do keep things really clean, but I am sure there is a lot they can accomplish in 2 weeks.

The SPR are cat 10's and I believe they all sleep 4. We have 5522 and 5524 booked for this Nov :D
