I got my Sigma 150-500 today. I'd try it out if I had a Nikon camera. Doh! I guess I'll be sending it back and reading the product listings a little closer next time.

Oh, that's mine and must have been sent to your house in error. Just forward it up I-45 to my place and I'm sure yours will still be along in no time. The big brown truck has been wearing a path to my stoop this week anyway.

The surprising thing is that they just left it on my doorstep. They called earlier in the day to say that it was on its way but would require a signature. We were down in Houston at a geology exhibit when they called. When we got home, the $1,000 package was just sitting on the doorstep.

They do that around here all the time. They left my DD's new Dell computer on my front porch on a day we were in Disney and DH was at work. It sat there from noon until after 11pm in a big box with a big DELL printed on it- on a farmers porch in full view from the street maybe 40' away. Funny thing is we have an enclosed porch not 30' from where they left it and DH left a note on the door for them to leave it there
Bummer about getting the wrong one.
Anyway, I can't wait to see the photos you get from that lens! I'd like to get something like it for when we are able to get to Yellowstone. Might be a while, tho, DD will be starting college at Boston University in Sept.
