Dogs in Campsites?

Can anyone tell me if dogs are allowed at Fort Wilderness?

No, according to some threads the pet loops are for armadillos, snakes and peacocks! Of course dogs are allowed!

Dogs are allowed but only in certain loops.

When we visit the fort we try to stay in loop 300 so we can bring our pooch!

We have been going to the Fort for years and have always stayed at loop 300, a great pet loop. This trip in Sept. we are going to try loop 1600 pet loop.

Yes, there are otters!!! They can be spotted on Bay Lake (if you're lucky - at the FtW Marina), and the lake at DTD. I think others have said they've seen them other places at WDW - but Bay Lake & DTD are the only two places I've seen them.

A little history.... back in August I posted about seeing otters on Bay Lake... and got totally dumped on! (all in good fun - though). Little by little others were posting about "Otter Sightings"!! Because I was the first, I am officially known as the "Otter-Spotter".

This is a fact you "otter" know!!

Yep, 'tis true. We see them all the time when we take out the boats. Bay Lake.

It's raining and I hate it!! Not too cold thank goodness.. I might even get off my butt for about 20s to do some camper packing.. I better get something done soon we leave on April 18th!! LOL

BTW.. I grew up in pottstown pa.. have you ever heard of that place?
