Dogs...any of your ever have a bone infection???

I've lurked her enough to know that there are LOTS of pet lovers here. My poor 8 month old Rottie puppy is having a bone biopsy today!! I'm really worried about this & am wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen??

She started limping on SAt. Sunday she wouldn't put any weight on it. Mon I took her in for Xrays. There is a "mass" on her bone. Could be an infection...could be cancer. It's her right front leg.

Our very first Rottie died of bone cancer 9 years ago. This has been a really bad day!

Thank you!! I need the hugs, my husband is traveling thru Europe & is upset...but not here. The vet just called...she made it thru fine! They did a chest Xray & that was clean, a good sign.

Now we wait for the culture & biopsy!
