Okay. I have set plans and set dates!
I'm going January 19-26th, staying at Pop Century, using the dining plan, and I'm going solo!
My moms wanted to come, but changed their minds (we couldn't find a dog sitter for her psychotic, agressive chihuahua). Now they are planning for Oct '08, giving us plenty of time to work with him enough to make him able to be dog-sat. My mom's favorite holiday is Halloween, so she's hoping to go to MNSSHP next year. However, this pre-trippie is about my solo trip, so enough about Halloween for now.
I'm quite excited about going alone. I can wherever I want, do whatever rides I want (except the ones my SD can't do), and I don't have to worry about planning around what others want :woohoo:
I'm going to book either tonight or tomorrow morning for my hotel; in fact, I just tried but it hurt my brain. How silly.
Well, more trying, then I shall type more here!

Okay, even though phones scare me, I called Disney. As always the people on the phone were absolutley wonderful and super helpful. I've spent at least a few hours online trying to get the website to give me a room, but after five minutes on the phone, I'm booked.
I also made an ADR for Boma for the night I get there.
I'm ao excited!

I'm thinking about getting a book I saw about Disney with special needs, because it has stuff in it about service dogs. I have to go to the book store and see if they have it. I also want to look at the passporter book since it looks like you can write stuff in it. Which would be cool.
I really like books (obviously), my mom got me the Unoffical guides (Disney, Disney with kids, and Beyond Disney), and now I'm going to get more books. Yay for books! At least I know I'm not spending a fortune on books, all the ones I have now I got for free.

I'm currently debating whether or not a character meal would be completely insane for me. I don't want kids petting and bothering and distracting my dogs, and at character meals there are bound to be tons and tons of kids. At the same time, there are character, which hopefully would keep the kids attention away from us. I sound paranoid, but all my experiences with children and my SD have not been good ones.

I'm also researching FAA regulations so I know the laws backwards and forwards when I go to fly. Employees seem to never know the laws, ask for more info than they can and generally make things difficult. Knowing the ADA laws has helped a lot, so hopefully the same will go for FAA laws.

I've made more plans.
First off, I've booked my resort with park hopper tickets and the DDP. :) I made my deposit as well.
I have ADRs made. This was the first time I've ever bothered with making them, and really since I'm one person I don't know that it was really needed this time, but I figured why not. I was considering not doing character meals, but I LOVE character meals, so I'm doing a bunch :)
ADRs:
Jan 19th: Boma 6pm
Jan 20th: Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Package 5pm
Jan 21st: Akershus 2:25pm
Jan 23rd: Chef Mickey's 7:50am
Jan 24th: 'Ohana 8:10am
Jan 25th: Cinderella's Royal Table 2:15pm
