Your 3rd picture in your 1st post looks very much like our Sheltie mix. She was a wonderful, sweet girl who definitely loved to herd anything that moved.

He's a beautiful dog!

Of course, by getting a mutt you greatly decrease the risk of health problems because you are diluting the genes.

That's actually an old wive's tale. If you breed purebred dog A with bad hips to purebred dog B with bad knees, you might just end up with a puppy with bad hips and bad knees.

That's an adorable pup, though -- very charming!
