Does Zebra Bread exist?

A few years back we went to Boma for breakfast & LOVED it. I had read on the All Ears menus that they offered these great things called Zebra Domes but they are only during the dinner buffet, but for breakfast they had something called Zebra Bread. When I asked a staff member in Boma if there was Zebra Bread he said that he had never heard of that. Is there such a thing? What is it? Is it like a Zebra Dome...whatever that is. Thanks!

A Zebra Dome is a dessert -- if I recall right, it's a cakey thing covered in white chocolate with stripes -- hence the Zebra name.

So I don't think it's the same thing that you're talking about, but I do not know what Zebra bread is. I don't remember that from our Boma breakfast, but it was a few years ago.

I've never heard of zebra bread but a zebra dome is a chocalate coffee type mousse that is shaped like a dome. So it's a dessert and not a bread or anything. i've never been to Boma for breakfast though sorry!

I just double checked the Boma Breakfast menu on All Ears and it still says zebra bread. Someday I will locate someone who has encountered this mythological breakfast food...

I remember zebra bread being used for the pb&j sandwiches. It was a swirled rye of light & dark colors. They might offer it as a toast for breakfast but, I can't remember- it was too long ago.

Oh my goodness...is zebra bread actually a rye/pumpernickel swirl that I can buy at my local Acme??

All these years...and it's only 5 minutes from my house.
