Does your spring break always @ Easter or is it the same time each year?

My sons marching band is going to WDW over Easter 2011. They are leaving Easter Sunday and starting home on Friday. My DH is going with him on the bus and myself, DS, and Grandma would like to fly down on Saturday and stay until the following Saturday. That way it give us a little extra time in the parks to do what my younger son wants to do.

My question is does your spring break always go with Easter, so changes each year, or is it the same week no matter when Easter is? I just wonder with Easter being April 24 next year if the parks will be as crowded. I know it is one of the most crowded time of the year. We always go in July so I'm use to the heat and longer waits. We have never been over a holiday.

Ours in the NE is the same week every year - the third week in April, so butting up to Easter that year.

Always around Easter.

Although my wife's school is the full week before Easter plus the Monday after Easter.

My kids only have off the Thursday - Monday around Easter.

Ours here in CT, at least our town, is the third week of April, so it would fall in your time frame next year. My niece and nephew go to school in Mass. and they always have the same week also.

I live in north east TN and ours varies every year. One year it was in April with Easter. This year it's the second week in March. It just depends.

Our spring break has always been the week after Easter. Next year though it is the last week in March. I don't know if they are starting something new (last week in March all the time) or if it is just then since Easter is so late.

It's always at Easter for us. (Good Friday, (potentially Thursday) through the Sunday after Easter)

We used to have it in earlyish March actually. They pushed it back a few weeks and we now have it the last few days of March and the first few days of April. (which I'm glad about.. April Fools day + being named April...)

When I was in school (many moons ago) we always were out the last week of March. This year our school system's spring break is that week. Last year it was the 2nd week of March, but all the different county/cities/private schools here have different schedules so this may not be break for the whole area. And if I had to guess since most of those systems (not ours) have had in excess of 2 weeks of snow days since Jan 1 I bet they won't get a spring break.

Our local schools' spring break is always the first week of April.

I'm in Seattle area and ours varies each year, but not around Easter. It's anwhere in the first 3 weeks of April. Last year was the first week, this year it's the 3rd. I think it has to go off when the other breaks are (so many weeks between). We get 2 weeks for winter, a week in Feb and a week at spring.

Our spring break is always the week leading up to Easter. We will sometimes also have the Monday following Easter off for teacher work day, but not always.

Ours always starts on Good Friday and runs through the week after Easter. We are in Union County, NC (a southern suburb of Charlotte).
