I have loved Mickey Mouse and Disney animation since I was a little girl. DH isn't a big fan. He doesn't hate it, he's just not very much into it. I convinced him to go on this Disney cruise, yet, he still is not into the fact that it is Disney. He will go watch the movies with me, and he did like Lilo and Stitch, so it seems like Disney is winning him over. We went to TDS last week (I tell ya, it sure was nice to talk to the CM's who were into Disney as much as I am!~I'm gonna be in heaven on my cruise!) and he looked like a kid in a candy store! I couldn't believe it! Was this MY DH?! He found an antenna ball shaped like Mickey's head and he bought it. As soon as we came home, he put it on his work van! So, is your SO into Disney, and if so, were they always, or were they won over?

DH will swear up one side and down the other that he hates Disney... he calls me a Disney freak, and calls those Disney-fied places in our house "Disney hell".

His first trip was our honeymoon. We've been back 6 or so times since then. ;) I wouldn't say this in front of him, but I DO think he likes it there! LOL!

He doesn't get into the movies (though he'll watch the DVDs), decor, etc., but he does humor me. And HE's the one who bought the Mickey flag antenna topper at AK and put it on the car! ;)

He used to just be begrudgingly tolerant... I don't think he'll ever be a true fan, but he's a lot better than he was! :)

Yup!! My Hubby loves going to Disney!! But.... He is not a crazy about "Disney" As I am!!! :D :D :D

John does like Disney but not to the point that I do...although he does have the same Mickey and Minnie tattoo that I do:)

We did have a discussion about doing our bedroom completly in Disney and he disagreed. He said that we wold get tired of it...I disagreed but in the end he won. But ONLY because I have always wanted to do a room in Old Southern Art anyway. So I don't really look at it like I lost.

He is always ready to plan a trip to Disney with me though, although I did compromise and say next year we will go to the Grand Canyon instead. After all we have been to Disney 4 times within the last year:)

Didn't use to, but he does now. But he still hates the 'It's a small world' ride and won't go on it.:teeth:

He will ride Pooh Bear, though.:teeth:

Wow, what response! Actually, when I posted this, I meant to say Disney in general, as we've not been to WDW yet, although I'm hoping that my DH will feel the Disney magic after our cruise and want to plan a trip there. I would love to go and take DD, she's the perfect age for it. (5)

Chris loves going to WDW....:D

My SO likes Disney, but not to the extent that I do. He enjoys going to the parks and riding the rides, seeing the fireworks etc...He isn't big into Disney movies (but then again, I do not find the new movies to be of the same caliber that the former ones were). He will listen to me talk about it, but sometimes asks if we can change the subject  I like to listen to Disney music a lot and he can take it for only so long before he want to change it to something else. I convince him to play Disney Trivia with me every couple of weeks. He doesn't like it cause I know all the answers and always beat him. Disney to us is a bargin. I get Disney, he gets....what ever he wants at the moment ;)

NADA!!!! Since our family time is so limited, my DW enjoys anything that we can do together. She had a great time on the DCL, primarily due to the cruise experience rather than its association with Disney.

Art is patient with me, he likes the vacations and is very interested in the fine dining aspect. But if I tried decorating the house in Disney there'd be trouble. He likes Disney, but he's not obsessed. He'll go to WDW with me every other year, in the years in between I find someone else to go with.

My dh is severely Disney impaired :( He loved DISCON last year, though and went from saying he didn't care if he never went back again to declaring that he wouldn't go more than once a year :teeth: I consider that progress.

Dh mostly humors me with the DIS and Disney

My DH loves disney!! It was actually his suggestion that we honeymoon at WDW...and he actually found the DIS first! We both love Disney, but I think the characters excite me more than him! LOL! For example: I am willing to wait in line to meet a character...DH is content just seeing the character.

YES! But, he tries to blame it all on me. I finally figured it out when I had him call for a quote and he ended up booking the trip. He said "Well, once you had me call, I knew we were going to do it.". I seriously was just curious about the rate. Thats when I realized he turns it all around to make it look like Im the Disney Freak, when hes just as bad. ;)
Skuttle, my DH did the same thing on our honeymoon. I had wanted to go to Hawaii, but DH wanted to go on a cruise. He convinced me by saying "Well if we do a cruise, we can go to Disney World too.". Now I realize he just wanted to go to WDW.:teeth:

He's okay with Disney. He isn't enough into Disney to go to WDW with me. He is okay with some of the movies (he has yet to see Lilo & Stitch though) but not all of them. I hope some day to slowly win him over, but it hasn't happened yet.

DW and I started going to WDW in the late 70's when we moved from Oklahoma City to Miami. We both grew up with Disney (we're only 6 months apart) and loved it as kids. Somewhere along the line my interest surpassed hers. So to answer the question, she likes it a lot, but not as much as me(but admittedly I go overboard).

My DH isn't into WDW like I am. He just takes me because he knows how much I love it. He likes vacations where you do absolutely nothing but rest. But he is good and takes me about 3 years or so. We don't go every year but that is ok. I like rest vacations too.:)

Thank goodness my DH enjoys Disney as much as I do! The kids do too. DH is not into the resort aspect as much as I am, he would stay at any of them, BUT he loves WDW. He is even known to "skip" while there:p !
