Does your rig have a name?

Just curious. We keep calling our trailer The Turtle, but I'm wondering if we should put some effort into it and come up with a better name!

I suppose we could switch to a Disney turtle name, but all I can think of is Crush, and he's a duuuude.

We sold our motorhome last month, but it was always called The Holiday Road. And my car, which we pulled behind it, was The Holiday Toad.

We call ours Homer. I like to say the name is from the Homer who wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey, but I'm fairly sure that my husband named it after Homer Simpson.

Ours is a toy hauler so we call it The Hauler. Sometimes we call it Wolfy because it is a wolf pack.

Hi!

We call ours "SouthFork".

For two reasons---(1) it was purchased in Dallas, and (2) it was a big step up in size for us (from a 19' TT to a 27'!!) and it all just seemed so huge and luxurious!!

We thought long and hard when we got this trailer in 2007 and after much thought, deliberations and a few disagreements we settled on "THE TRAILER".

Now when be bought our dark grey Elantra this past March I came up with the name for it of "Atilla" since I always want to pronounce Huyandai "HONDADAY" and this way I now get it more right than wrong by getting the U vs. O sound in there, but still slip up every once in a while. However, it will always be "Cuma Salada" regardless of of what others think.

"THE MONKEY" like a monkey on your back which I really like if you have to name your truck camper or maybe "HITCH-HIKER".

All of our vehicles have names. Our bounder motorhome is named Fillmore. There are two reasons he was given this name. 1. He is named after the van on Cars. 2. We are always "filling" him with "more" stuff and "more" gas.

We didn't name it, the neighbors did. It's the Buddymobile. Named after my little pal below. He makes us smile every single day.

We started calling our pop up "the Beast" because it is so big and heavy. When we first got it we were describing our adventures in backing into a site to my Dad - he wondered why we didn't just back it in by hand After borrowing it, he now agrees it is a "Beast"!
