Our first litter of pups all have name with "heart" in it in honor of their dad - so 2 of Kiska's brothers are called (they live with their new families)

Our's is a specialty breed (Shiloh Shepherds) and not recognized by the AKC yet although she does have the loooong name. Don't ask me what it is though. 'Cassiopea of something of something with whatever'. Usually her name is just C'mere Dammit'.

I had the honor of meeting a few Shiloh's in my time and they are both beautiful and smart. I'm surprised to hear they aren't recognized yet.

Come to think of it, one of them shared the same name as your dog. Do I know you?

My Shih-Tzu is Maxwell King Classic. We call him Max or Maxwell.
We named him that because DH got a Harley Davidson Road King Classic then a few months later I got Max and tease DH that he's my Harley.

Ours is a Basenji. In Virginia when you register the first name is the kennel name so here goes.....

Itzyou, Cleopatra Egypt's Pearl.....her name is Cleo, the breed is from Egypt/Africa and her mother's name was Pearl!

When we are not calling her Cleo we like to refer to her as Noodle Butt....she has a curly tail like a noodle that seems to be constantly in motion!
