Does your Dog Do This?

My dog pouts when my 6yo dd goes with her nana. It's pretty funny. My in laws live just through the woods from us, and this a.m. dd rode her snowmobile down to their house. Since then, the dog has been either standing at the window watching for her, or lying on the floor sighing and whining. She was 2 when we got him at 8 weeks, so they're growing up together. Usually, he goes with her but it's windy and he hates the wind, so he stayed behind. Funny dog.

Our dog cries whenever anyone leaves.....whether they live here or they are a guest. People who have never been over get the biggest kick out of our dog crying when they go. She looks right at them and just pouts and cries.....funny to us but not her!

When my oldest daughter comes home from school on break he is very excited to see her for about 2 minutes. He then turns all of his attention to me and is over the top with excitement. My daughter laughs and says, "Look at him.....I've been gone for 3 months. You came to get me and have been gone for 6 hours and he acts like it's been years since he's seen you. I just happen to be here lol"

I have to remind her that if we say her name his ears prick up and he starts looking out the window for her.

Mine used to get a lot more upset when I left the room...he'd follow, and if I was in the bathroom and shut the door so he couldn't get in, he'd be sticking his paw under the door or laying right up against it so i could see his fur under the door, as if I was going to climb out the bathroom window!!!!

Now he's old..almost 13...so he mainly sleeps, looks up when I leave the room and assumes I'll be back eventually.

We have a cat that acts like a naughty toddler, constantly getting into trouble whenever our DS12 spends the night at his friend's house.

The cat usually sleeps with him. The only thing I can do to calm her down is play fetch with her until she's too tired to stir up trouble. I dread DS going to camp this summer!

My parent's puppy cries whenever someone goes outside without her. It's absolutely adorable!
