Does your DH/DW/SO ever cook?

..and no, I don't mean something instant out of a packet or a microwave meal!

Luckily for me, my DH loves to cook & every weekend serves up something scrummy.

I cook the majority of our meals.

DW is the better baker of the two of us though.

My Dh does cook for me. He is learning a bit at a time and does try hard. When he is home for more than a few weeks at a time, we have cooking lessons on the weekend. He is so happy that he can know make a cake and icing.

Last year after I was dx. with BC and started Chemo then Rad, my DH stepped up to the plate from Oct til June of this year and cooked all the meals.

My DH is an awesome cook! He is much better than I am. He learned to cook for survival reasons. His mother can't! My mom is pretty good, and I'm decent, but he really likes to cook.

BF says he does, but I've yet to see it. On the other hand, he thinks its too much trouble for ME to cook, and always wants to take me out (and yes, he likes my cooking! The last time he "let" me cook, he inhaled it!).

Also, I came home from work to find he cleaned the house, including doing the dishes. See, my tag is right, I DO have the best boyfriend ever!

My wife can't cook at all.
She tried a couple of times in the past, but she usually just works from a reciepe, but doesn't follow it very well.

The last meal she cooked took 3 hours or so (for baked chicken breasts, with stuffing and cambells cream of mushroom) and tasted so bad even she wouldn't eat it.

DH grills...but all the time. So I guess yes. But he never does the side dishes.

I do the cooking in our house. It is not that Holly can't, I just like to wait on her.

Sometimes she will start a meal and I will kick her out of the kitchen and finish it.

I'm not much for baking, so Holly does that. She makes great cookies and apple crisp. MMmmm apple crisp!

DH cooks whenver I don't feel like it. He's not bad either. Nothing fancy but he'll grill chicken and make veggies. And he cleans too. And works 60 hrs a week. He's the greatest.

Yup, he's a great cook. He makes a HUGE mess in the kitchen when he cooks though, but it works out o.k. since I love to clean. He also does most of the grocery shopping, a chore I hate doing.

I have the bestest husband ever!

He can cook, especially on the grill. He does all the laundry, he does the icky litter box duty and he does most of the mopping.

I do most of the inside cooking, I do the dishes, the vacuming, the dusting and the help with homework.

We have a perfect marriage in the cleaning and cooking catagory, heck we have a pretty darn good marriage in all catagories.

Mine cooks almost every night. It just makes more sense since I don't get home until after 6pm and he is home by 3:30pm.

DH cooks meals on the days he is off at 1 and some times on the weekends. He also does all of the grilling.

Saturday night my wife had Bunco at our house, twelve women I cooked all day Saturday, the menu included

Tomato and Buffalo Mozerella cheese salad,
Crab Cakes with Marinara sauce,
Anti Pasta Tray,
Grilled Peppers and Italian Sausage,
Ziti with Sunday Gravy Sauce,
and for dessert, homemade Tira Masu

I cook most of the time.

My DH does the lion's share of the cooking in our house, especially lately since I haven't been well. I only enjoy cooking when I have a while to do it (on weekends etc) and I use the crock pot a lot in the winter. His Mom taught him to cook at a really young age and he learned how to do most of the basics. He doesn't do a lot of complicated stuff, but good home cooking. I am a very lucky woman to have a man like him!
