Does your DH carry bag?

Ok women, I've got my messenger Baggallini for myself. This is our first trip to Disney, so I'm not sure if DH needs to carry something too!??? If so, WHAT would he carry? We have 3 kids ages 7 & under...I'm not gonna worry with giving them something to carry (too much drama at their ages plus it would probably get lost!)

Thanks in advance!

Instead of carrying a big bag we both wear a fanny pack. Sometime dh wears cargo shorts that will carry his stuff instead of the fanny pack.

I carried a backpack and it was "shared". Everybodys stuff was in it, i just made sure wallets & other valuables (cameras, phones, etc.) were tucked in a pocket on the inside of the backpack.

About 1/2 way through the day, I heard the sweetest words ever..."hey, why don't you let me carry that for a while". :lovestruc:love:

We shared a backpack too. And DH took it most of the time. We only did that one day. It was just too bulky and hot to carry it, so we didn't take it again. This time I will just carry my Baggallini, and DH won't carry anything. I try not to take too much with me.

With 3 kids under 7, won't you need a big bag like a backpack for extra clothes?

My DH always refused to carry the bag yet when our kids were little we needed the extra clothes so I always ended up carrying a backpack with the clothes, snacks and autograph books in it.

Now that my kids are older, I don't need it and go bagless as much as possible. When DD is in the mood for getting autographs, I carry a small bag for her autograph book.

We also share a backpack. Although somehow my DH always ends up carrying it more than I do...:rolleyes1

I bought my husband a new backpack so he, too, can carry stuff. My one was so heavy last time that we did take turns. But this way it's not so heavy and we don't have to pull so much stuff out to get to one particular item...and more room to put snack goodies in from the parks.

I'm the family pack mule, but we try not to take a lot of stuff. If we needed something like a change of clothes, we'd rent a locker to keep them in.

I (DH) bought one of those camel backbacks, you know the ones that have a water bladder in them with a hose attached for drinking. I took out the bladder and detached the hose. It was the perfect size for sunglasses, camera, wipes, small snacks, etc. It was easy to carry, light (you could only fit so much in it) and comfortable. I bought it online at a outdoors type store but did see them after the trip in a Walmart.

DH actually carries my messenger baggalini -- I have it in a brown color. We take turns with it.

I have a bag that I carry about eighty percent of the time. We don't have kids so we don't need a lot.

If we are not planning on doing a mid day rest and need clothes to chang into for dinner my Dbf will carry his backpack the entire day for me.

Thanks everyone! My silly man wants a fanny pack! So, I ordered him one from LL Bean since I had a $10 gift certificate. Hopefully it'll work fine for him. And, he'll also have his shoulders free and can still carry my baggallini (also brown color) if I need a break!
