Does your cat play fetch?

One of our kittens will play fetch with a mylar, crinkley ball. He keeps bringing it back to me and I keep throwing it. He's adorable. :lovestruc

Yes! One of my kittens fetches while the other just plays spoiler and grabs the glitter ball and walks away with it.

Not my current cat but I did have a kitty who I could throw a ball and he would retrieve it time and again !!
I did have a kitty once who used to play and chew on dog bones I think he was a bit confused hung with my dog too much !!

Had one that would play fetch, especially with a balled-up napkin. Only one that did, though.

How cute!

I have never had a cat that will play fetch. If I throw something, my cats will just give me a dirty look and walk off.

She won't fetch per se, but we have a routine, when I come home with paper receipts, when I crumble them up, she perks up, then I toss it and she will bat it out of the air and play with it for a while. I guess she likes the crinkly sound. There are always tons of paper balls laying around.

The cat we lost a couple years played fetch. We had so much fun with it. His item of choice was sewing bobbins. He passed 3 years ago and I'm still finding sewing bobbins underneath things.

His "personal best" was returning the bobbin 31 times.

Our new cat plays fetch too. Only the game is a little different. I throw the toy. She tears after it. And I go pick it back up to throw again. I prefer the old cat's version. ;)

When I was a kid we had a Siamese cat that would fetch. Then when she had kittens, she taught them.

My cats like it when I throw stuff for them to chase, but of course they don't bring it back. :snooty: They have me trained to walk over and pick it up so I can throw it again.:rolleyes2

We used to have a cat who would play fetch. :) KitKat, aka Fluffy, loved playing and she would fetch all day long. She played up until her last couple of months at age 20 (it's how we knew she was fading). She's been the only cat we've had that would fetch.

Because mine does lol, but with weedwacker string. You can throw it across the room, she'll go and get it, and bring it back to you. She's nuts.
We have 1 that does. He has a little black cube that is soft. We don’t even know where it came from! He will bring it to us in his mouth and drop it. We throw it and he fetches. It is the cutest thing. The only issue is when he has dropped it in the bed at night and I freak out thinking he has dropped a bug in our bed.
