Does your cat do this?

I have 2 cats, the one (male) should have been a dog! He follows me everywhere, lays on me soon as I go to bed or lay on the couch, throws himself at my feet, soon as I sit down, he is sitting there right up against me, or will throw himself ON my laptop!!! He is a leech! A cute leech but a leech all the same.

Just wondering who else has a cat that does these things...

Not mine, but my mom's cat is a "momma's boy" who does that! He even follows her into the bathroom!

Yes I do. My male cat has done that since he was a kitten, and now I have a female kitten who does it too.

Both huge people cats.

I've always said my cat should have been a dog and my dog a cat. My dog is very moody and only comes if she wants to. My cat follows me everywhere and comes when I call.

My Inky (neutered male) is like that. Always has to be right with me. Sleeps right beside me and absolutely loves to play fetch! If I crumple a piece of paper anywhere in the house, he is right there waiting to play!

Not that bad but yes. My Sasha is always bugging me for attention. She follows me around the house and will stand in front of the computer monitor so I can't see it and have to look at her. She sleeps in my arms at night with her head under my chin and purring like crazy. Sometimes its annoying. Most of the time, its cute lol.

I have two cats, Gidget and Gizmo, they are sisters from the same litter, but couldn't be more different from each other!

Gidget is a "Mama's Girl" as my DH says. She follows me everywhere and sits on me constantly! I usually sit on the couch and put my laptop on the coffee table when I surf the net. She sits between my feet on the floor, looks up at me, mewos and jumps in my lap weather I want her to or not! She's sooooooo darn cute though so I don't mind (most of the time).

Gizmo however is a VERY typical cat. She does what she wants, when she wants. She doesn't like to be pet all the time like most cats, she only likes to be pet when she's in the mood!

I think between the two of them, I have ONE normal cat!

I have three persian babies - 2 males and 1 female. My boys are ALL OVER me!!! They love me to pieces - my female on the other hand is aloof. Casper (my Chinchilla pride and joy) is currently in my lap. Haze (my black-smoke show cat) is half-way on the keyboard!!

Yeah - I have an 18 lb lap cat - but - only if I have a blanket on me! He's very picky about where he settles down.

Growing up I had male cat who would follow me everywhere. He was always purring too. I miss the little guy

I have 2 cats

My tiny siameese is like a dog. She fetches balls of paper (usually only ones my hubby throws). We chat back and forth ie. I will meow so will she. This will go on forever if I let it. she lays with me just about ever night except if I move to much then will go with hubby. she likes to be held like a baby, and again only by hubby. She will wait at the door for him when it is about time for him to come home. She loves to be petted on the belly as well.

Our cat Kipper does this too. He has been a "lap cat" ever since he got the big "snip" LOL. While I love having such a sweetheart, I find myself putting him into the laundry room just to get some peace. He plays fetch too, I throw his hot pink mouse down the stairs and he brings it back for me to throw again. We play this for hours!

Must just be a kitty loving world we have. My OTHER cat, the female (Riley) is a CAT, she goes through phases where she is just as bad as Ian, but the thing with my cats, they will NOT be in the same place as me at the same time! They will lay on top of each other in bed, or when they are "alone" but when it comes to ME? If one is there, the other will just walk by and meow, almost like telling the other that they been there long enough and it is the other's turn. Kitty to Kitty communication is very HIGH in my house!

Rajah, a ragdoll siamese, male... is ALWAYS near either me or my son. He even waits at the door for us to come home each night! We have to lock him up when we take a bath/shower... he tries to join!!! I thought cats HATED water????

Leontyne Kitty is a Velcro cat. She should have been named "Appendage". She has so many "dog" traits. Sounds like there are a lot of others out there, too. Having never had a cat, I thought that they were all aloof and stayed to themselves. Live and learn.

I have 2 male cats.
Rusty is a total "baby". He follows you around, sleeps with you, plays fetch, always has to be cuddled. You can even hold him like a baby & rub his tummy.
He is just a baby old baby....but we love him

Our other cat is more of a typical cat. Doesn't like too much cuddling unless he wants it.
