Does your akv purchase show up on the dvcmember website?

Give it a little time. We just added on at VWL (I spoke to my guide last Saturday), and the points didn't show up on dvcmember.com until Sunday. I'm sure they're very busy right now updating all the new add-ons.

I am pretty sure you have to sign the papers. I know you do if it's a loan before you can use them. (On cash I don't know)

That said the EARLIEST the guides could turn your "order" in was 8 today. There is not much chance that most of us are going to see any thing on the website this week.

We added on pts for SSR in September. Our points were there and for use the very next day....and I did use them for our May 07 trip that very day. We didn't sign the papers or even pay until December!

I didn't even think of looking this early for the contracts to be there. This opening of a new resort has to add a lot of work to MS people so I'd be shocked if they showed up in the next few days.

We paid for all 200 by Disney credit card so if they show up upon payment, ours should be there soon.

I was told today by MS, that the AKV can't be used at all until after it opens up in September. Not even used for a trip next January! You can't book until then I mean. Anyone know if this is true?

Every contract we have bought, the points were posted and available within 24 hours.

So far today our new points for AKV are not on the members site. Our credit card has not been charged either. But my guide called about 8:45 am this morning to let me know our contract had been entered!

When I spoke to my guide today he said that the points would show up tomorrow for me. I got off the phone with him doing my add on about an hour ago.

Yes, I waited ALL day to buy; I show such great restraint.

I want that noted too because my husband does not agree!

My guide told me we could start booking May 16th for stays after September 1st, all the way up though the 11th month window. So May 16th, you can book any dates between Sept. 1, 2007 and April 16th 2008.

She also let me know that the resort may open SOONER than Sept.1. They are just using Septmeber 1 as an estimate.

I bought at the preview center today at about 4pm, and they already show on the member website (except for resort name it shows 'null').

BTW, they start taking ressies May 16th but only if using AKV points.
They start taking ressies June 6th if using non-AKV points.

See this doesn't make sense to me. Today I was told that you can't even use the AKV points until after the building opens up. Meaning you can't touch them at all. I didn't think that sounded right. I wish someone would varify this.

Well these points show up. However ALL of my other points for my March 08 use year have "disappeared" Guess tomorrow I get to call accounting!@

On the next page click the Points link; it will be near the center of the page.

On the Points page you will be shown a list of your contracts. If your points have been put in your new contract will be showing here.
