Yup. Our middle school classes do not go on the HS transcripts, but it does allow you to start your freshman year in upper level classes.
DS started taking college classes starting as a junior. He entered college as a second semester sophomore, just a couple of credits shy of being a junior.
The hs/college credit tuition was so much cheaper than the actual tuition we are now paying. Are we ever glad that he got so much done in high school! And he couldn't have done it without taking high school level courses in middle school so that he was far enough ahead to start taking college courses.
