does WL do flag family with sm family?

would they ever just do it with a mother/son, couples, etc?
or maybe put 2 ppl w/another family of 2?

I am not sure be I would imagine they would. Our family of 4 did this December 2001. A great experience and fantastic views.

we had the opportunity during our Oct 01 vacation - there were 4 of us then - the views were absolutely gorgeous
and Stan is quite the man!

Every morning, they raise the flags at the top of the lodge. They allow a family to take part in the ceremony. It is so cool cuz you get to go to the top of the lodge. I have never done it...I asked when we checked in in Jan but they had a family already scheduled every morning of our stay until the day after our check out! I almost considered staying an extra night just to do it!

I am sure someone can explain it better than I just did, or you can go onto allearsnet.com and do a search and get lots of info.

There are 5 flags to be raised on the roof of WL. At 8am, one family gets to go up to the rooftop with a flag guide who will explain the flags and let you raise them up. The you get some time to take pictures up there and you get to go where most people don't get to go to.
At the end, you are given a certificate stating that on that date you were honored as flag family.

It's really cool and if you have kids, don't tell them and let it be a suprise! They'll get a kick out of being able to go up on the roof!
