Does Winnie the Pooh meet on the Cruise Line?

So I went to DCL in 2007, 2012, and 2015, and never saw Winnie the Pooh. Does he meet on any of the cruises?

Disney only leased the rights to make Pooh movies/shows. Never actually owned them.

It's been in ongoing court cases for over 20 years as to to actually owns the trademarks.

I found this info: a federal ruling of 28 September 2009, again from Judge Florence-Marie Cooper, determined that the Slesinger family had granted all trademark and copyright rights to Disney, although Disney must pay royalties for all future use of the characters.

In 2003, guest services told my then boyfriend that the ocean is too far from the 100 acre woods so Pooh and his friends cannot sail with them.

So I am not sure about all the licensing issues but I like what guest services said

It has something to do with the original licensing (that the Slesinger family gave Disney) was for movies and parks. But didn't include cruise line (way before the cruise line)

I've seen Tiana, Ariel, Jasmine, Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and Rapunzel. Also, Anna & Elsa have their own Meet & Greet.

It is disappointing that Pooh and friends are not on the cruises. I have accumulated quite a number of cruise character photos and one of my friends always asks why I don't have any pictures with Pooh and friends. I've been telling her that for some reason I've never seen them on any of the cruises but after reading this post I understand why. Hopefully sometime soon this gets resolved and Pooh and friends can cruise.

Well, I figured "Captain Whoever" was Captain America, but Wonder Boy was beyond me. I'll admit that they are all "new" non-Disney types (Marvel/Star Wars) to me, so I wasn't sure who that was.

Lol. I know it won't matter, but I'm crossing my fingers my Nov 2018 NYC to WDW Magic cruise won't turn into a Marvel one!!
