Does WDW interactive game still work?

Hi, last August, my son purchased the WDW interactive game when we were in the parks. He loved visiting the attractions featured as games and getting the attaction's game "activated". Do they still sell these? Does the activation process still work? I know that you can reset it so that all the games are active BUT that takes away all the fun!!! He asked me about it and I have absolutely no idea.

I think that it still does. I heard about this last month, and was planning on purchasing one ahead of time. I decided to wait since we are going next month, and decided to let mY DD buy it at the park instead.
