Was just curious! Is your choice based on fireworks view, location to pool or dining? Staying there soon for the first time. Thanks!

We've only stayed in tower 4, I believe. The non-pool side has a good fireworks view. I would probably be happy staying in any tower, but 4 or 5 would be preferable based on which pools my kids like and being close to them.

We've stayed in towers 1, 2, and 5. Don't have a favorite, each had something good.
Tower 5 had the best pools and lazy river right outside the back door, but parking was further away than I prefer, we had to use the parking garage. We had a parking lot view which included Disney Springs, no fireworks.
Towers 1 and 2 had easy close parking. We had parking lot views in both those towers. Could see Disney Studios fireworks from Tower 1 deck every night in the summer, and Hilton Bonnet Creek water fountains from Tower 2 deck.
Hope to have a nice water view sometime!

We were just in room 1301 in tower 6. It was a 2 bedroom presidential. The view straight ahead from the balcony is Hollywood Studios and AK and to the right is Epcot. We clearly saw the Osbourne Lights and Illuminations each night. Very nice place to be!

Just wanted to bump this :) Does WBC even let you request a tower or room/view? I have read conflicting things. Thanks!

I have stayed several times via SkyAuction and in my paperwork I am permitted to make "requests." Our first trip we requested nothing and got Tower 4. VERY HAPPY! So I have requested it each time since and always gotten it, and always gotten lake view.

To me it depends on what you are looking to be close to.
- We like the parking deck (car out of sun) and front entrance of complex for easy in/out.
- We like being between the Pirate pool and Main building pools.
- In between gives us hot tubs, lazy river and another pool.
- We have no interest in the pools/activities in front of 1, 2, 3 because it is louder and more kid oriented.
- We are between multiple bars and food options, but we usually either cook or go off property.
- Grills have never been a problem getting.
- We are next to amphitheater and have participated in a couple activities there.

We are very park driven so our interest in our condo is relax, quiet, chill, sit on balcony - having space, multiple beds, laundry and kitchen. It really depends on what amenities you are hoping to participate in. It's a big resort with no shortcuts across the lake, I think location to your interests is the most important factor.

We have always had nice units by NOT requesting anything. The two times we requested we had parking lot views. So, now we just go with fingers crossed.

Tower 5. Has a lazy river right outside, and it's close to the parking garage between towers 4 and 5.

Thanks, All! Do they even let you request a tower or a view? We went through VRBO if that matters.

Heading to WBC day after Christmas 0 we are DVC vets, so looking forward to the comparison, etc...... couple of questions for the veterans:

I am hoping for tower 4 or 5.....

- Grills - do we need our own utensils, use the ones in room, other spot?
- assume there are lifeguards throughout for the pools.
- Bring our own drinks to the pool - assuming aluminum or plastic containers - can we bring a soft small cooler?
- Uber/taxi.....I am going to try this instead of parking in mass lot, take a taxi to Boarwalk for example and walk into parks. I hate the Epcot main entrance. pretty east to get Uber for short trips?

thanks, Jim

When we stayed at WBC we told the lady that we were checking in for the first time ever. She was very friendly and asked us if we knew where we wanted to stay. We had no clue and she said she had a perfect room for us. Off we go, open the door, and there are people in the room. Thankfully they were nice. They let us call down to the desk from the room phone. She apologized, found us a nicer room, and sent someone with new keys to meet us at the door. Worked out great.

I think if there is availability and they are not swamped, they will do it. You may have to wait for the room to be ready though.

Awkward! Glad it all ended up OK :))) Just curious (if you remember), what tower was that? I guess I am just curious about what a staff member thinks the best tower is.

First tower to the left of the main building. Sorry don't know the number. We could see Epcot and MK fireworks. Epcot was clear but MK was just in the distance.

Just wanted to bump this again. Trip is coming up! Thanks so much! Learning towards Tower 5 for the Lazy River!

Did you go yet. My family of 7 is going next week. I have 5 kids ages 8 to 13. Which lazy river is the better one? Which tower is better for the lazy river and pool?

I believe you can see fireworks from the higher floors of towers 4, 5, and 6. I personally like tower 3 since there's plenty of parking. I refuse to park in parking decks. A couple times I stayed there I parked by tower 3 and had to walk to tower 6. Once I parked near the check in building late night like 2 am and went into the pool areas. The gate to tower 6 was locked so I had to climb over it. That was interesting.

You can still use all the amenities when staying at any tower so it's not a huge deal. Most people request tower 6 since it's the newest but you can usually request tower 1, 2, or 3 without issue but you may have to wait. It's a beautiful resort so don't let a less than optimal room ruin your trip.

They are both about the same. Tower 5 would probably be better because the LR is right there, the slide pool is one building away. Its not really too far from any building really. If I had my choice again, I would want Tower 4, 5, 6. I have only been in Tower 4 and it was perfect for us.

We are heading out for our first stay 3rd week of May. I would rather have a pool view than fireworks - hoping that will help. Just really don't want a parking lot view. This is our first Bonnet Creek and probably last time we will be able to make this trip.

If we arrive early on a Saturday - I understand it is better to show up before we go to the parks to check in for better availability than to wait until the late evening. However, do we just get on the list early when we show up, leave and make our way to the parks and hope when we return that night we have a good room, or do we have to stick around?

You go to WBC, check-in, discuss with the person what you like, see what they can assign you, and if you can wait for availability the better your chances. We had a parking lot view, but were higher up. It was not bad at all. We could see MK and Epcot fireworks (Bldg 4).
