Does VB open today??? Haven't heard anything.

You're welcome. Hope you can get there soon to make up for the bad timing on the last trip. It depends on where you go. If he is heading to Sebastian Inlet like I think he is,the beaches around the State Park are pretty clear and open. Wabasso next to the Resort is still closed as is Sea Grape and Turtle Trail south of the Resort are still closed and debris filled. The beach out front stretching in front of Disney is clean. Northeast Winds are supposed to pick up today and the Surf is forecasted to build to 12-13 ft (which spells erosion) Surfers should be out in full force.

Thanks for the pictures!! We are VB owners but have not been there yet. We have always gone to BWV the last few years. Our 15 year old likes to be close to WDW. Hubby and I are heading down by ourselves for the first time in January and are going to be at VB. It looks great.

Are they going to be "rebuilding" the dune are will the beach stay that wide?
