Does US have/Does Canada have...?

We do have crayola crayons here. Speaking of candy, does Canada have Jolly Ranchers?

Does USA have Kraft Peanut Butter?
When we were in Anaheim at IHOP we asked for peanut butter for our toast. The server said, "Oh, you must be from Canada" We asked why, and she said "Only canadians ask for Peanut butter!" Then she brought us out a glob of it in a bowl! In Canada, there is little packages-always with the jam and honey!
Is PButter not so popular in the US?

I love it on toast!!
PB is very popular, just not as popular on toast (it's jam and/or regular butter all the way). PB and jelly sandwiches now... THAT's big. Or PB with fluff. Does Canada have fluff??

Yes, we have Jolly Ranchers candy

About the PB and Fluff....what is Fluff??

Fluff is spreadable marshmallow; it comes in a jar like PB does. When I was a kid I knew a lot of kids who ate "fluffenutter" sandwiches. It's also pretty good for making rice krispie treats.

Ok, ya, we have marshmallow spread. I used some to make a fruit dip a few weeks ago. Very sticky stuff! But I don't know of anyone who uses it on sandwiches! It is mostly used here for desserts, baking etc...

Does the US have cheez whiz?

Yes, we have cheez whiz. Does Canada have Cracker Jack?

We have Cracker Jack cheese. And Cracker Jack the caramel popcorn.
Is that what you mean?

Does the US have wagon wheels? (cookie things)

I meant the caramel corn, we have cracker barrel cheese, never heard of cracker jack cheese. Never heard of wagon wheel cookies.

oooops-ya, I meant Cracker Barrel cheese-duh! My bad!

Does the US have:

Tupperware
Avon
Pampered Chef
Creative Memories
Stampin' Up
Mary Kay

They are all home based businesses that have catalogues and parties

All of the above looks familiar except for Stampin' Up. We probably have that too.

Who is your most loved celebrity and politician? Most disliked?
Where do most people "dream" of going in Canada, but don't because it's too expensive, or exclusive, or far away (or all of the three).

Well, I know that I would like to take the train through the Rockies. But I want a room on the train which will cost me a pretty penny. Someday......

I actually love to go south to Montana! We camped at Lake Koocanusa every summer as a kid, and I loved going to Kalispell, Libby, and a bunch of other places around there. And of course, Disneyland is my #1 place that I want to go back to , with WDW in there too. As for Canada...if I won a trip anywhere in Canada, I would like to go to Toronto.

There are so many celebrities that are originally from Canada: Keanu Reeves, Pamela Anderson, Michael J.Fox, Mike Meyers, Jann Arden, Shania Twain, Terry Clark, Wayne Gretzky, and of course tons of hockey players. I am having a brain freeze right now, can't think of any more celebrities.
Canadians-help me out here-who else was 'grown' on our soil?

Wow, Wayne Gretzky AND tons of hockey players. Pretty impressive. Old #99 was a ton of a player by himself.
How about Donald Sutherland? Canadian, eh?

And professional wrestlers. Iron Mike Sharp "the greatest athlete in all of Canada". And my favorites, the Vachon brothers.

We have Stampin' Up too. It is nationwide but if you aren't into crafts or home parties you may not have heard of it.

Dan Aykroyd is from Ottawa I believe. James Cameron (wrote and directed Titanic movie) Neve Campbell,Celine Dion,Peter Jennings,K.D. Lang,Alanis Morissette,William Shatner,

Canada also has a GREAT restaurant called Swiss Chalet. They are all over Canada aren't they? The US has them but only in parts of New York state and 1 in Ft. Lauderdale!!!
They have unbelievably good food (Chicken, ribs, etc) Can't tell you how many times we have made the 2and 1/2 hour drive to Ft Lauderdale just to hit Swiss Chalet!!!!! :cool1:

Well I just spent some time with this whole thread and enjoyed it.
Most everything I know has been answered.
But....
We were in Toronto a couple of years ago and when I didn't want sweetened ice tea they were suprised I was from the "states" The restaurants we went to seem to think I would want it sweetened. I explained I was from Michigan and sweetened ice tea, at least around my neck of the woods is considered a more southern thing.

Also getting back to candy (chocolate)bars. When we were at WDW and in Epcot we were buying Cadbury chocolate in England. When we exclaimed how much better it was the young man explained that it was because "We use milk in our bars, not candle wax like you Yanks". So do the Cadbury candy bars in Canada have milk or candle wax?

We had ski doo snowmobiles for years when I was a kid. The artic cat snowmobilers had a bumper sticker that said "don't eat yellow snow"

I have to admit I once thought that barbeque referred to the sauce. After having been to Tennessee and Texas I realized my error!

I just checked my chocolate stash...
On the cadbury Crispy Crunch bar, it doesn't list wax.
On the Nestle Aero bar, Milk Chocolate, and no wax
The kit-kat bar, milk chocolat, no wax
Then I ate them all. Thanks for tempting me! I blame it on you that I had to look at the labels.
I cannot resist chocolate.!!! :mickeybar

If only that Mickey Bar were real!
We can't even get aero bars here.
What we need to do is sit 2 of everything side by side and have a taste test.
And then a retaste test.............
