Does Toy Story Mania have FP??

If you want to ride Toy Story Mania with a FP you'll have to go to Florida.

No FP, but the line is no where near as crazy as it is in WDW. 40-50 minutes is as crazy as long as I've ever seen it...even right before Christmas or during the summer. We ride it once per trip but have never waited more than 30 minutes and that was during the Halloween party when it was in DCA.

Yah, and then be prepared to deal with 120 minute lines the rest of the day. And show up reaaaaally early at the gates to get your FP. And "run with the bulls" to get the FP.

As others have said, TSMM at DCA does not have the same line patterns at DHS. But TSMM is equally popular.

I agree - it is brutal. We love the ride so we waited 2x in 60 minute lines. But by the end of the 2nd time, I was DONE. It's a LONG line....

FWIW, WDW vets laugh at DLR vets complaints about TSMM and the "long lines". I can attest that the TSMM line at WDW goes to 90 minutes within minutes of park opening and often goes over 120 minutes during the day.

I agree that TSMM at DCA is the hardest ride to do with a short line. But what constitutes a long line is a matter of perspective.

The only way you can get an FP for Toy Story is if someone in your group has a disability that allows for a GAC. The CM's at TS may give you an FP to return later based on the current wait time.

I consider the "run with the bulls" a right of passage for the uninitiated DHS guest. It really is a stampede too, even in the off season. That being said I'm looking forward to riding at DCA without FP just to see the difference.

They do turn off the potato head if he is up and talking but not the ride.


Sometimes going when the park opens has worked for us. *note everyone usually heads to that ride but when we go first thing we are able to hit the ride twice in a row with only having to wait at most 10-15 minutes. Wish is way better then over 60 minutes.

On the day before Thanksgiving last year, we waited in line for 42 minutes to reach the sign that said "50 minutes from this point." I'm not kidding!

But when we were there in mid-October the previous year, we were able to walk on until our hands hurt too much to play anymore. This was first thing in the AM and we did not run with the bulls.
