Chattanooga is nothing. Atlanta well thats different 
I am an hour north of Chattanooga and always drive at night. I plan it so I hit Hotlanta about mid night never been a problem. Just watch your brakes coming over the Rock aka Monteagle Mtn. on I24 it will heat up your brakes fast.
As far as drive times towing It slowed me way down when I had my YellowXterra I usually drive 75 / 80 not towing. Towing It I would only really do about 65 MAX. Now I have a Frontier with 100 more HP under the hood. I will still only run the speed limit as I had a blow out last year and don't want that to happen any faster.
