Nope, only 2 adults in the room..the other 2 adults on the DDP are our 10 and 13 yr. olds.

The room only rate (rack rate) is 705.00/night... so $5,552.00 for the week.
The park tickets = $1,493.68
The dining plan = $1,259.65
Total for rack rate = $8,305.33

The 40% off room would be ~ $3,330
That plus the tics & dining is ~ $6085.

Some people have posted getting a PIN for 40% off the ENTIRE package, not just the room. Did you read the details of your PIN correctly?? If that's what you got, the $5115 would be pretty close.

Oh... and I ran my numbers with 4 adults & 1 kid... so you might be a bit cheaper since 2 of your "adults" are really kids/juniors.

I got the email the says..Hello---Family and goes on to say how they're excited to hear that we are thinking about a stay. Then in very small print in the bottom right hand corner it says.."Special Resort Offer-enjoy better rates if you've got flexible dates". Then says save 20% off value resorts, 30% off moderate, and 40% off deluxe.

Then the dates included are listed..says call today and have this PIN ready! There is nothing else besides the fine print at the bottom that says the number of rooms is limited..etc. etc..

The CM told me there were no wing rooms available and then said ..oh, I have theme park view for about $300/night!

That's amazing, since when I pulled up the dates it said rack rate was $705/night!! I think you've got an AWESOME deal.

Even with 4 adults and 1 child in the room, I got $550 per night for that room/view. I'm not sure where the $705 is coming from. With 2 adults and 3 kids it would be $500 per night for the room only and 40% off that would be $300. Oh yeah, you might want to get 8 day park hoppers for only $16 more!

Yes, I too, get $500/night rack rate for my family and that does work out to $300/night at 40% off.

I just went and pulled up the room only rate again, and got the $500/night. All I can figure is my dates jumped on me or something... because at first it came up regular rooms, and I had to choose Theme Park View.

This time for the Oct dates, only theme park views & club levels are available. I must have gotten it in a peak season or something the first time!

Either way, $300/night is pretty good for the theme park view. ;-) Now the big question for you will be this: if free dining comes out while you are set to be there, will it be a better savings than the 40% PIN? With 4 "adults" & 1 child... it might be a close call!
