Understand her concern (then again, I never bring a bathing suit to conferences....I really can't imagine the people I work with seeing...that much of me.)

I went to a hotel once that had the clear pool (the underground part) as the backdrop for the bar....people at the bar would watch the people swimming. Pretty icky all around.
