Does this make sense for HS day?

Essentially a newbie at HS, and going with 6 yr old boy. How can I improve this game plan?

Arrive well before RD on a 6ish crowd day in April (recommended, no EMH) as per our usual. Head straight to Jedi sign ups (do we have to run? hope not).

Then TSMM. This will be my kid's favorite of the day, I am sure.

For FP+/ADR I have

TSMM 10:35 AM - 11:35 AM
TOT 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM
Hollywood and Vine (kid request) 12:30 (Fantasmic package)
Star Tours 1:35 PM - 2:35 PM

Jedi whenever we can get it (after Star Tours? Between TSMM and TOT?)

50s Prime Time at 7 (can't get into Sci Fi at good time)
Fantasmic 8:30
Home.

We can afternoon break or not. Staying at POFQ.

I am sure you have thought of this, hence why it is not there - but you or your son are not interested in Rock N Roll Coaster or shows (ie Stunt or Indiana Jones?)

Sorry, I can't comment on the Jedi sign up as we have not done that. The plan seems pretty good to me!

I'm wondering if we'll have to run too (for the Jedi sign up.

Also, does anyone know how bad the lines get for TSMM on EMH mornings at HS? Could we do without a FP+ for that one if we book it straight there?

This could be an issue. 50's often has one of the longest backlogs in terms of seating. Even with a 7:00 ADR, you might not get seated until 7:30. If you have the Fantasmic Package, don't you have to assemble in advance of 8:30? Others with specific experience with this can fill in the gaps, but instinctively, this looks like a time crunch to me.

Also, as noted above, let us know about Rockin' Rollercoaster, as your son's desire to ride that would impact the overall plan.

Agree with others, 7pm ADR is too late. You'll likely end up forfeiting your Fantasmic Package seats. With a 6ish crowd, it might not be worth it to buy the Dinner package.

Since you're running to Jedi first, the line for TSM will be long by the time you get there. By an hour after park opens, it's usually 60min+ wait. EMH mornings would be slightly better, assuming you're there right at park open and running for TSM.

So if we were signing both our kids up for Jedi - they both have to be present when we sign up, correct?

He's too short for RNRC, so that's out. Yes to the stunt shows. Would like to fit those in between mentioned plans.

I really want to get TSMM in twice. Do you think I have a shot as a #4 FP?

I am generally all over early EMH, but they just don't work out well this trip. Thanks for the 50s PTC info. Will rethink that.

If there is time in your day, mayb3e try GMR! It's a classic, and one of my favorite attractions at HS. The Muppets is also fun, and RnRc if he likes big roller coasters. Indy and LMA are maybe some things to consider as well!

Sorry to be the one to say it but I think your chances of a 4th FP+ for TSMM are slim to none. Can't hurt to try of course (you never know!) but I wouldn't count on that making the other plans for the day.

Have moved my 50s Cafe dinner to 5:15 for more wiggle room before Fantasmic at 8:30. Thanks!

50s Prime Time at 7 (can't get into Sci Fi at good time) your going to miss your seats at fantasmic. counter service "pizza planet" ? or keep trying for earlier time.

Just got back. We were first in line at our turnstile and about number five to sign up for Jedi. I took at 1230 slot. We then did TSMM as walk ons...ten minute wait max. We then walked on to the great movie ride, star tours, watched Indiana Jones, did Jedi. We had fast passes for TOT and RNR. RNR was my six year olds favorite thing of the day...he rode three times.
