Just made an online reservation and one of the terms at the bottom was "Please note that your party may be seated at more than one table." The reservation was for 4 people. Has anyone ever had to split up to be seated with only 4 people?

Thanks,
Peg

i remember a similar thread a few weeks ago.

every dining reservation for more than 2 people has this included in the small print. However it is unheard of for it to happen for small groups (up to 8) and for larger groups it is extremely rarae and even then you will be placed on ajoining tables.

It says thate even when you put in a reservation for one person...

It's more to cover their behinds incase it happens... don't think I have read of anyone being split up on these boards (except maybe a HUGE group)

I was actually told this by a Disney dining rep when I made my Afternoon Tea reservation. She first asked were we willing to sit separately (2 & 2). I told her preferably not and she then went back to finding me a table for 4. She finally found one for 4, but again said we could be split. Never had that happen before with any other reservation.

Thanks, everyone. I won't waste any energy worrying if they'll want to seat us 2 and 2!

Peg

Ive always been told this. I've never been part of a party that has been split up except for 1 time. My group of nine had to sit at two tables right next to each other. It was ok though. We did an adults table and a "kids" table. Kids being me (25 at the time), my sister (22 at the time) and my 3 cousins (all under the age of 10)

Yesterday morning I made all my ADRs for my upcoming trip and when I went to book 50s Prime Time I got that same message, and it was only for a party of 3! I didn't get the message for any of my other 7 ressies. I'm not worried about it. I can't see them splitting us up.. especially since it's myself and 2 kids.

I've had several larger groups with "you may be split" warnings. Never happened yet.
