Does this creep anyone else out?

my quick contrubution to the gross stories

my middle nephew was in the back seat of the car with me when his tooth came out (with a little help)....blood everywhere......told him to spit it into my hand so he could rinse his mouth out with water!! husband turns round to find me sitting there with a hand covered in blood and this tooth.....freaked him out :scared1:

)OMG! This is so funny! I've had been chasing my younger son around for a week, threatening to yank his darned tooth out! :p He turned 8 years old this month and still had his upper baby teeth! So, I'd get him to put his head on my lap while I wiggled it until he started laughing and screaming. (I know. I must really be a weirdo.)

Anyway, the night before last, I reminded him how his older brother had lost a tooth. (He was playing tug of war with one of the dogs. Eric and the dog each had part of a dish towel in their mouths. The dog yanked, and out popped the tooth. :teeth: ) So I took blanket off the couch and said "Here, put this in your mouth." (I didn't really think it would work.) I gently yanked the blanket, and the tooth flew clear across the room! :duck:

I swear I am not making this up. Here, I'll post a picture of our family. That's me, DH, Eric and Hunter:

My poor kids fall for this EVERY TIME! They'll complain of a loose tooth bothering them, and it has to be WAY loose for it to bother them. Anyway, I'll have them get me a napkin so I can dry off the tooth to "check" how loose it is. Then....OOPS! There's the tooth right in my hand. Gee, funny how that happened, isn't it? Every single time!!!!! Either they're gullible or they're humoring me.
Now my barf button is mucous, but I'll save that for another post....

When our twin DD's were growing up, I was "the dentist" of the house. It just never bothered me much, and our dd's seemed to think I could perform the extractions without pain.

My congratulations to those of you who have kind husbands who handle the "tooth thing" in your household :)

....as a single mom, I'm the one and only.......and I have not yet been able to stop myself from running out of the room at the sight of a wobbly tooth.....my DS9 thinks it's hilarious and loves to chase me down.....little does he know what the "tooth fairy" has in store for him............just kidding......the "tooth fairy" in our house is very kind and forgiving.......and is very grateful to live with the cutest DS9 in the whole world!

He's lost 13 already, so exactly how many more teeth will I have to "deal" with?
