I say celebrate whatever you are celebrating
I'm going to Disney with my mom and a friend of mine about a week after I get back to the US after volunteering for a year in Liberia. We're planning to celebrate my (hopefully) safe return and, perhaps more importantly, that my mom survived the experience
.
At first we were just joking about getting a special cake that says "Congratulations on Surviving World War III" (Liberia has gotten some bad press on CNN recently). But now we're actually going to celebrate it (pavement is gonna be a celebration for me at that point) and we're planning on even getting the buttons that say the generic "I'm Celebrating".
If you're doing something special, then it's a celebration.
What is this about putting it on your reservations, though?
